The services rendered to the public by sri VSM in the capacity of M.L.C, APCC treasurer, AICC member, Chairman of East Godavari Zilla Parishad,President of Ramachandrapuram co-operative central bank and last but not least as Founder, President and Correspondent of VSM College, Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari Dt.are exemplary and noteworthy.

ప్రజా రంగంలో పనిచేసే యే వ్యక్తికయినా ధైర్యస్థైర్యాలు అత్యావశ్యక గుణాలు. ‘స్థైర్యం స్వధర్మాద చలనమ్ - ధైర్యమింద్రియ నిగ్రహః’ తాను నమ్మిన ధర్మపధం నుంచి వైదొలగకుండా ఉండటం స్థైర్యం; ఇంద్రియ చాపల్యానికి లొంగకుండా ఉండటం ధైర్యం అని వ్యాస వచనం. ఈ ధైర్య స్థైర్యాలు మునసబు గారికి సహజ కవచాల వంటివి. ధృతవ్రతమే ఆయనకు దృఢవ్రతం. మిన్ను విరిగి మీదపడ్డా చలించని మేరు ధీరులు ఆయన.
చదువులు సంస్కారానికీ, పదవులు పరోపకారానికీ భూమికలని మనసార నమ్మి, నోరార చెప్పి, చేయార చేసి చూపిన విచక్షుణులు మునసబుగారు.
మనసులో ఒకటీ, మాటలో మరొకటీ ఆయనకు అలవాటులేని విద్యలు. అందువల్లనే పదవీప్రలోభాలకీ, ప్రజారంగ ప్రలాభాలకీ అతీతులుగాను, అధికార దాహాలకీ, అవకాశవాద వ్యామోహాలకీ అనాసక్తులుగానూ ఉంటూ వచ్చిన వీరి అసాధారణ వ్యక్తిత్వం అజేయం,జగజ్జేయం.
ఆయన అచ్చంగా కార్యశూరులేగాని, వాచా శూరులుగారు. మిధ్యావాదాలు, రధ్యా ప్రసంగాలు, వృధా చర్చలు ససేమిరా ఆయనకి నచ్చవు. ఆయన నూటికి నూరుపాళ్ళూ కార్యవాది.అనేక రాజకీయ యుద్ధాలలో ఆరితేరిన వృద్ధమూర్తులయినప్పటికీ, మునసబుగారు అంతర్ముఘులు. ఆశ్రితజనరక్షా దీక్షాదక్షులయినప్పటికీ గుణపక్షపాతులు.
రాజకీయ స్వాతంత్ర్యం సంపూర్ణస్వాతంత్ర్యసౌధానికి ఒక సోపానం మాత్రమే అని మునసబుగారి విశ్వాసం. ఆర్ధిక సహకారరంగాలు దేశప్రగతికి వెన్నెముక వంటివనీ, విద్యావ్యవసాయ రంగాలు జాతి సుస్థితికి ఆయువుపట్టులవంటివనీ మునసబుగారు నిర్దేశించుకోవడం ఆయన క్రాంతదర్శిత్వానికీ, క్రాంతిదృక్పధానికీ సూచికలు. అందుచేత ఈ రంగాలపై తమ దృష్టిని కేంద్రీకరించి, అసహాయ శూరులుగా, ఏకాంగి వీరులుగా పరిశ్రమించారు. రామచంద్రపురం కోపరేటివ్ సెంట్రల్ బ్యాంక్ , రామచంద్రపురం కళాశాల, తుల్యభాగాలిఫ్ట్ యిరిగేషన్ పధకం, వీరి విశిష్టదృష్టికీ,వివేక పరిపాకానికీ చక్కటి నిదర్శనాలు.
లక్ష్యసంసిద్ధికి సాధన సామాగ్రి సంశుద్ధీ, కార్యనిర్వహణ దృఢబుద్ధీ అత్యవసరాలని గుర్తించినందువల్లనే మునసబుగారు చేపట్టిన అన్ని రంగాలు మూడుపువ్వులూ, ఆరుకాయలుగా వర్ధిల్లుతున్నాయి.

విద్యాదానకర్ణులు, వితరణ కళాప్రపూర్ణులు అయిన శ్రీ వుండవిల్లి సత్యనారాయణమూర్తిగారి షష్టిపూర్త్యుత్సవాలు సాధుజన సంతుష్టికీ, సత్సంప్రదాయ పరిపుష్టికీ దోహదం కాగలవని మా విశ్వాసం.

సామాన్య ప్రజల శ్రేయస్సే తమ శ్రేయస్సుగా భావించి , అహోరాత్రులు వారికై శ్రమచేసి , ప్రజల్లో శాశ్వత ముద్ర వేసుకుంటారు కొద్దిమంది ..
తమిళుల కామరాజు , ఆంధ్రుల ప్రకాశం పంతులు, ఆచార్య రంగా వంటివారు ...ఇట్టివారు చాల అరుదుగా వుంటారు.
వీరి శ్రేణిలో చేర్చవలసిన వ్యక్తి , ప్రజల మనిషిగా గుర్తింపబడిన వ్యక్తి మన సత్యమూర్తి.
డిగ్రీలు లేవు..పెద్ద పదవులు అసలే లేవు..జమీలు లేవు..
మరి ఏమిటి? ఈ "మూర్తి "లో ఇంతటి దివ్య శక్తి ఏవిధంగా చోటు చేసుకుంది?
పేద ప్రజల దీన హృదయాలు ఈమధ్యకాలంలో ప్రభుత్వమూ, మన నాయకులూ గుర్తించి వారి శ్రేయస్సుకై పాటుపడటం మనం చూస్తున్నాం..
ఈ విషయం మన సత్యమూర్తి తన చిన్న వయస్సు లోనే గుర్తించి,వారి శ్రేయస్సుకై పాటు పడటం ఒక్క కారణంగా భావించవచ్చు .

ప్రాధమిక విద్యావ్యాప్తికై కృషి చేశారు..స్వగ్రామంలో తన డబ్బు తో ఉన్నత పాఠశాల స్థాపించారు... తదుపరి ఉన్నత విద్యావికాసానికి పాటు పడ్డారు... చివరకు గొదావరి జిల్లాలో ఏ ప్రయివేటు అనుబంధ కళాశాలలో లేని ఎమ్.ఎ క్లాసుని కూడ ప్రప్రధమంగా తన కళాశాల లో ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.. డిగ్రీలు లేని వ్యక్తి , ఉన్నతాధికారుల్లో , ఉన్నత విద్యావంతుల్లో ఎంత గౌరవం ,ఎంత ప్రేమాభిమానాలను సంపాదించారంటే.. సత్యమూర్తి తలుస్తే..సత్యమూర్తి కోరితే..ఆపని కార్యరూపం లోకి వెనువెంటనే రావడం దానికి నిదర్శనం.. ఎందరో కళాశాలలు స్థాపించారు..పంతుళ్ళపై కర్ర పెత్తనం చలాయించారు..కళాశాల అభివృధ్ది, అధ్యాపకుల శ్రేయస్సుకై పాటుపడిన వ్యక్తులు చాల తక్కువ మందిని మనం చూస్తాము.కాని ఈయనో ...... ఒక ఉత్తమ సంస్కారవంతుడు , విద్యాధికుడైన డాక్టర్ గరిగిపాటి రుద్రయ్య చౌదరి పై ఈ కార్యభారం మోపి , తన పర్యవేక్షణలో తీర్చిదిద్దుతూ , దాక్షారామ దేవాలయం తర్వాత ఈప్రాంతంలో ప్రతివారూ దర్శింప దగిన ఒక పవిత్ర ప్రాంగణంగా , ఒక అందమైన ప్రదేశంగా తీర్చిదిద్ది , కళా,సాహిత్య , క్రీడా రంగాలకు నిలయంగా,

సహకార రంగంలో ఎంతొ శ్రమ చేశాడు.. బలహీన వర్గాలకై పాటు పడ్డాడు.. హరిజన గిరిజన ఉద్దరణకై అహర్నిశలు శ్రమపడ్డాడు.. ఏజన్సీలో సత్యమూర్తి పేరు తెలియని పులిపిల్ల కూడా ఉండదేమో? రైతులకు, రైతుకూలీలకు అండగానున్నాడు..ఇన్ని సంపదలున్న మనిషికి ........ ధన సంపద ఎందుకు?

popularly called ``RAYAVARAM MUNSIFF''
is known to people by different names - Raju,
Dattudu, Samiti President etc..
His political Guru Kala used to call him
affectionately the ``Nadar''. He is a person
who is understood by his admirers and
well-wishers in many different ways.
Our president has a nationalist background
as hi father Sri Ramaiah was a victim
of the British imperialism during salt
satyagraha. Further he learnt the alphabet
at the feet of such nationalists as late
Sri Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy and
late Sri Kala Venkatarao.
When he was hardly 20 years old,
in 1937 itself he evinced keen interest
in the activities of the Indian National
Congress. He was in the ranks during
1940's and became a force to reckon
with since 1952, when he lead the
Congress to victory in the Anaparthy
constituency and when his natural
brother late Sri R.V. Sbbarao Chowdary
could become M.L.C because of
his efforts.
With the advent of Andhra Pradesh
many new leaders have come up
in the political arena. Thus Sri Munsiff
too, who had remained in the back ground,
as organiser and leader till then came to
the forefront and became a member of the
Legislative Council. Consequent on the
establishment of the Panchayat Raj in
1959 he had the opportunity to show
his mettle and talents as an administrator
of the highest order in the capacity
of the President of Rayavaram Panchayat
Samithi, and Vice-chairman of Zilla Parishad,
East Godavari. In addition to his
experience in the Panchayat Raj
he had a rich experience in the field
of Co-operation. He organised the
first Lift Irrigation Society in India,
in his native place Rayavaram in 1953,
and he was the President of the
Ramachandrapuram Co-operative Bank.
In the party organisation also he has
run his places. He was a member of
the A.I.C.C and the Executive
Committee of the A.P.C.C.
How could a man of the peasant
stock from an obscure place
achieve all this? Selfless service to
the common man and an innate
desire to bring about improvement
in the area are the sole reasons
for his popularity. He had donated
nearly 5 Acs. of fertile land named
after his mother Chellamma
to the Harijans in his village. He
established a Higher Secondary
School in the name of his father
in his own village. The climax of
his munificence was the
establishment of a college at
Ramachandrapuram, which had
been the dire need of nearly 5 laks
people for the last 20 years.
Recently M.A; in History has been
started in this college, and the
college bids fair to become an
autonomous institution.
This is the man who came from
the commoner, who works all the
twenty four hours in a day for the
common people and who lives
the most simple and unassuming life.
perhaps many a great man has had
a humble beginning and has
trailed forth his glory remaining
yet unobtrusive and unassuming.
Ramachandrapuram taluk is a very fertile region with a very

lacking an ordinary eminity like a college till the year 1966.
It is an irony that a man who had not the benefit of even
high school education should come forward with the noble
idea of starting an institution for higher education and
organise the educational society in 1965 and himself make
a mighty contribution and collect funds night and day and
turn out the miracle of starting one of the finest colleges
in the district .It is probably the result of an insatiable
urge and a noble impulse to give and afford to others
what is denied to him .

What is done by him is not a mean contribution to the
welfare of the taluk and its thousands of youth most of
whom would have gone without the benefit of
college education .They will forever remember
him as a patron of higher education in this area.
The taluk is forever indebted to him for this noble act
if not for his other welfare activities which resulted
in the starting of a High School in his father's name
and a Veterinary Hospital in his mother's name
and a Lift irrigation scheme to facilitate perpetual
second crop irrigation in a vast area not to speak
of several other public welfare activities with which
he is associated in his public life in various branches of
activity;political and social.True to the letter he is a
PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVE.
He is always work minded and moves shant like
an ethereal spirit to attend to the various problems
of the people mostly the havenots of his region .
He is a dynamic personality always smart cheerful
and optimistic. In the fitness of things the college at
Ramachandrapuram which is his making is rightly
named after him and he will be ever remembered
in this taluk as the Founder and Builder of this
great institution which has recently risen to the
dimensions of a POST GRADUATE CENTRE.

మా మునసబుగారు..
అనపర్తి గణేశ్వరరావు,ఎం.ఎస్సి;
ప్రిన్సిపల్(పూర్వ),వి.ఎస్.ఎం.కాలేజి, రామచంద్రపురం.
మా మునసబుగారు ప్రజల మనిషి. ప్రజల కష్టసుఖాలు ఆయనకనుభవైకవేద్యాలు. వాళ్ళ సమస్యల్ని పరిష్కరించడం, వాళ్ళకు సాయపడటం ఆయనకి వెన్నతోపెట్టిన విద్య. ఆయన నాయకత్వం బలమైన పునాదులతో ప్రజల హృదయసీమల్లో సుప్రతిషితమైంది. ప్రజలు ఆయన్ని తమ వాడుగా భావించుకొంటారు.
మా మునసబుగారిది కార్యాచరణ మార్గం. వట్టి మాటలు కట్టిపెట్టి గట్టిమేలు తలపెట్టే స్వభావం. కార్యాచరణంలో పట్టుదల, తీవ్రత, ఆయన విలక్షణ లక్షణాలు. తలపెట్టింది పట్టుదలతో సాధించడం, ఆ సాధించడంలో తీవ్ర గమనం ఆయన పద్దతులు. ఆయన నడకలాగే, కార్యసాధనలో ఆయన తీవ్ర గమనాన్ని ప్రక్కవాళ్ళు అందుకోగలగడం కష్టం. ఆయనలో వున్న ఆ ‘డైనమిజమ్’ ఆయన మహానాయకత్వ లక్షణంగా నేను భావిస్తాను.
మా మునసబుగారి మహోన్నత వ్యక్తిత్వానికి కార్యదక్షతకి మా కళాశాల మహోన్నత భవనాలు ప్రతీకలుగా నిలుస్తాయి. అతి స్వల్ప కాలంలో యింత మహోన్నత నిర్మాణం వారి తీవ్ర కార్యాచరణకి సూచికగా మనసులకెక్కుతుంది.
మా మునసబుగారికి జరిగే షష్టిపూర్తి ఉత్సవాన్ని యీప్రాంత ప్రజలు తమ పండుగగా జరుపుకుంటారు. ఆయన కీర్తి కిరీటాలయిన తుల్యభాగా లిఫ్ట్ యిరిగేషన్, హరిజన గృహకల్పనం, సహకార సంఘాలు, ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలనుండి మహోన్నత కళాశాలా నిర్మాణం - వీటన్నిటివల్లగాని, వీటిలో యే ఒక్క దానివల్లగాని లాభం పొందని వాళ్ళు, వీటి ప్రభావ ప్రభావితులు కానివాళ్ళు యీ ప్రాంతాల ఒక్కరుకూడ ఉండరు అనడం సహజోక్తేకాని అత్యుక్తి కాబోదు. తన మహోన్నత వ్యక్తిత్వంవల్ల యీ ప్రాంత ప్రజల జీవన విధానాన్ని ప్రభావితం, ప్రకాశితం చేసిన మా మునసబు గారికి జరుగుతున్న షష్టిపూర్తి సన్మానోత్సవం శుభప్రదం, విజయవంతం కావాలని, వారి ప్రజాసేవా జీవితం నిరాటంకమై, అమేయమై, అసమానమై ప్రకాశించాలనీ, వారికి దైవం దీర్ఘాయురారోగ్య సంపదైశ్వర్యాల్ని, ఉన్నతిన ప్రసాదించాలని పరమేశ్వరుణ్ణి ప్రార్ధిస్తున్నాను.

............He is known to all of us as " Rayavaram Munsiff " and i wonder how many people know his real name! He has been in the field of politics for a long time and was also a Legislator for some time.
Though a rich by birth, for some reason he did not have an opportunity to go to college or university, but he is endowed a rare gift known as commonsense which many and educated men lack. This of men and matters enabled him to carry on his responsibilities as district leader.
What strikes one most is his keen interest he evinced in higher education not for himself, not for his children but for all boys and girls in and around Ramachandrapuram.He felt the need for a college in that thickly populated area. Unlike the management of colleges elsewhere who could not provide minimum physical requirement to colleges started by them , Sri Munsiff garu rose up to the occasion and showed a tremendous will in organising the V.S.M. College almost single handed with the help of the local people large amounts of donation were collected for the noble cause and within a short span of time a huge building programme was taken up and completed. This is not a small achievement. Sri Munsiff was able to provide one of the finest educational institutions in the state. All those interested in higher education should be grateful to Sri Munsiff for his foresight in creating this magnificent institution........

As one coming from an agricultural family in the rural areas of Ramachandrapuram taluk of East Godavari District, Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayanamurty garu is a typical representative of rural folk whose actual needs and problems he had understood thoroughly and whose cause he had taken up even from the beginingof his public career. Though Sri Satyanarayanamurty garu is devoid of the advantages of a formal training and education, he possesses a sound and shrewed commensense with a knack of understanding men and this easily. He is neither a dreamer nor a sentimentalist, but is essentially a man of action and ahard realiest. His indefatigable energy, unbounded self confidence and tenacity of purpose enabled him to hold several responsible positions in public life including the membreship of the Legislative council in the state of Andhra Predesh. He is an incorrigiable optimist and stands like a rock against all currents and cross currents of public life. He is easily accessible to one and all and extends a patient and sympathetic hearing to their representations exploring the possibilities for such help and assistance as he could promptly render. Inspite of his seemingly stern exterior, he is full of the milk of human kindness.
The establishment of a first grade Science and Arts College in Ramachandrapuram in June 1966 which had been a long-felt need of the people of that area is his crowning achievement. He was good enough to invite me to take over the Principalship of the new college in which capacity i had the opportunity of working with him for two years fro June 1966 to Jjuly 1968 during which period i humbly endeavoured to serve the infant institution to the best of my ability by laying sound traditions in respect of academic standards and general discipline. Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayanamurty garu in his capacity as the President of the college Managing committee treated me with utmost respect, giving due weight to all proposals and suggestions made by me for the successful and efficient running of the institution.
His ambition has always been to make his college as one of the biggest and the best in Andhra. With all his drive and dynamism, he set out initiating appropriate steps for the construction of spacious and imposing buildings for the college, and completed the project in a record time. I have always felt that strong will to achieve something landable will of its own accord find appropriate ways and means of attaing the objective; Hence it is hoped that the college founded by Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayanamurty garu will add dimension upon and continue to serve the cause of higher education in accordance with the highest ideals of discipline, enlightenment and learning.

రాజ్యసభ మాజి సభ్యుడు, ప్రముఖ సినీ నటుడు.
కొందరికి క్రికెట్ ఆట అంటే సరదా.. మరికొందరికి పేకాటన్నా, కోడిపందాలన్నా-గుర్రప్పందేలన్నా- సరదా.. రాయవరం మునసబుగార్కి యీ సరదాలేమీ లేవు..ఆయనకున్న ఒకే ఒకసరదా .. ఎలక్షన్లు. చాలామంది రాజకీయ నాయకులు ఎలక్షన్లంటే భయపడతారు. కాని మునసబుగారంటే ఎలక్షన్సే భయపడతాయనివిన్నాం.. ఎందుకంటే ఎలక్షన్సులో ఆయన స్పీడు-ప్రత్యర్ధులులేకాదు, స్వజనంకూడా తట్టుకోవడం కష్టం.
ఆయనకు రాజకీయమంటే ఒక చదరంగం.. ఆయన వేసే ఎత్తులు, ప్రత్యర్ధుల్ని చేసే చిత్తులు, భలే గమ్మత్తుగా వుంటాయి- ఆయన మంత్రిచేత రాజును బంధించడం ప్రజ్ఞగా భావించరు. బంటు చేతిలో మంత్రి దెబ్బతినడం- శకటు సాయంతో రాజు ఆట కట్టించడం - ఆయన ప్రజ్ఞగా భావిస్తారు.
తూర్పు గోదావరిజిల్లా రాజకీయ చదరంగంలో- ముప్ఫై సంవత్సరాలుగా ఆయనదే పైచేయి.. అప్పుడప్పుడూ, ఆట తప్పటడుగుపడ్డా ఆయన బాధ పడరు...గెలుపు- ఓటమి,రెంటినీ చిరునవ్వుతో స్వీకరించే స్వభావ మాయనది.. యుద్ధంలో వెన్ను చూపడంకంటె-రాజకీయాల్లో వెన్ను చూపించడం హీనాతిహీనమని ఆయన నమ్మకం. రాజకీయనాయకుని జీవితం- నేలమీదపడ్డ మట్టిపాత్ర కాకూడదు- రబ్బరుబంతి కావాలని ఒక మహా నాయకుని ఉవాచ. అదే మునసబుగారి విశ్వాసం.. ఆయన రాజకీయ జీవితం..అందుకే ఆయన్ను పవర్ పొలిటీషియన్ గా ఎవరూ భావింపరు..పవర్ఫుల్ పొలిటీషియన్ గానే ప్రజలు, రాష్ట్ర నాయకులు గౌరవిస్తారు.
ఆయన ఏ కాలేజీలోనూ చదవక పోయినా, ఎందరో మనుషుల జీవితాలను కూలంకషంగా చదివినవారు.. కాలేజి విద్య యొక్క ఆవశ్యకతను గుర్తించినవారు...ఎన్నో బృహత్తర. ప్రజాహిత కార్యక్రమాలను- ఏకవ్యక్తిగా, స్వశక్తితో సాధించినవారు..
రాజకీయ నాయకుల్లో అరుదుగా కనిపించే ఒక ప్రత్యేకత మునసబుగారిలో చూస్తాం..అదేమిటంటే ఆయనకు జాతి, కుల, మత విభేదాలు లేకపోవడం..అన్ని ‘ఇజాల’లోకి ‘కమ్యూనలిజం’ భయంకర శత్రువని ఆయన అభిప్రాయం..ఆయన్ను అభిమానించే వారు స్వకులంలో కంటే- యితర కులాల్లోనే ఎక్కువగా వుండటం, ఆయనలోని ఆదర్శనీయమైన ప్రత్యేకత...మునసబుగారికి ఎన్నో పదవులు రావచ్చు..పోవచ్చు..కాని, ఆయనకు తిరుగులేని శాశ్వతమైన పదవి ఒక్కటే..అదే "రాయవరం మునసబు"- అది ఆయనకు దేవుడిచ్చిన వరం.. లక్షలాది ప్రజలు ప్రేమానురాగాలతో-గౌరవించే పెద్ద బిరుదు..
అరవై సంవత్సరాలు జీవించినందుకు షష్టిపూర్తి జరుపుకోవడం పరిపాటి... కాని, కాలాన్ని విలువైనదిగా భావించి, అర్ధవంతంగా ఆదర్శవంతంగా జీవించి, సమర్ధవంతునిగా రాణించి, అనేకానేక ప్రజాహిత కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించి, షష్టిపూర్తి ఉత్సవం- గర్వంగా, నేత్రపర్వంగాజరుపుకుంటున్న శుభసందర్భంలో- ఆ మనీషిని ప్రజలందరితోబాటు "శతమానం భవతి" అని ఆ జిల్లా వాసిగా, నేనూ కోరుకుంటున్నాను.

మంచివాళ్ళమనుకునే వాళ్ళకి ఈయన చాలామందికి చెడ్డవాడు కావచ్చు. ఎందరో చెడిపోయిన వాళ్ళకి మాత్రం మంచివాడని నాకర్ధమైంది. వ్యంగ్యం కాదు..ఆయన కట్టిన కాలేజి యిలా వ్రాయిస్తోంది. ఆయన చదువుని ప్రేమించగలడో లేదో తెలియదు..కాని చదువుకుని పైకి రావలసిన పిల్లల్ని ప్రేమిస్తారన్నది నిజం!
ఒకో మనిషి వుంటాడు. అతణ్ణి ప్రపంచం అంతా గొప్పవాడంటుంది..అందులో కొందరు తమకు లాభించటంకోసం అంటారు. మరి కొందరు అతణ్ణి గొప్పవాడనటంలో తమకి నష్టంలేదు కాబట్టి అంటారు.
సృష్టిలో ఒకే ఒక్క పదార్ధం వుంది..అది దర్పణం లాంటిది.. ఏమనిషి మంచిచెడుల్నైనా వున్నది వున్నట్లు నిర్భయంగా, నిర్మొహమాటంగా చూపిస్తుంది. దాని పేరు అంతరాత్మ. ఆ అద్దం ముందు నిలబడినప్పుడు భయపడకుండా, పశ్చాత్తాపపడే అవసరం రాకుండా ఎవరు బ్రతగ్గలరో వాళ్ళే నిజమైన గొప్పవాళ్ళు. ఈ మనిషికి ఆ సాహసం, నైర్మల్యం ఉన్నాయని నా విశ్వా సం. ఎప్పటికీ ఉండాలని ఆకాంక్ష.

మునసబుగారితో నా పరిచయం కొద్దిపాటిదే అయినా ఆయనపట్ల నా అవగాహన పెద్దపాటిదయిందనే చెప్పవచ్చు.
మనసులో ఒకమాట పైకొకమాట అనే బాపతు వ్యక్తిత్వం కాదాయనది. ఆ అనేమాట ఏదో ముక్కుసూటిగా గట్టిగా అంటేగానీ ఆ రాత్రికి ఆయనకు నిద్రపట్టదు. పైగా ఆయనది గంభీర కంఠస్వరం. రూపంలో మాటలో చేతలో మునసబుగిరీ కొట్టొచ్చినట్లు కనిపిస్తుంది.
సుసంపన్నమైన కుటుంబంలో జన్మించిన ఆయన సామాన్యకార్యకర్తగా కాంగ్రెస్ సంస్థకు చేసిన సేవలు; పిత్రుతుల్యు డైన నాయకుడుగా తాలూకానూ, జిల్లానూ నడిపినతీరు, సుదీర్ఘకాలం శాసనమండలి సభ్యునిగానే గాక వివిధ పదవుల్లో ఆయన చేసిన సేవలు చిరస్మరణీయమైనవి. సాంఘికాభ్యుదయ సాధనలో ఆయన సలిపిన కృషి గణనీయమైనది. ముఖ్యంగా విద్యాభివృద్ధికి ఆసక్తితో అభిరుచితితో ఆయన సాధించిన విజయాలు ప్రతివ్యక్తీ మరీ మరీ గుర్తుంచుకోతగినివి.
ఆంధ్రమాతకు అల్లారు ముద్దుబిడ్డడైన మునసబుగారి షష్టిపూర్తి వుత్సవాలసందర్భంగా ఆయన అతులిత సౌభాగ్యాలతో వర్ధిల్లాలని భగవంతుని ప్రార్ధిస్తున్నాను. సమర్ధవంతమైన ఆయన సారధ్యం నేడు ఎంతేని అవుసరంగనుక ఆయన సేవలు సుదీర్ఘకాలం కొనసాగాలని ఆకాంక్షిస్తున్నాను.

మరువలేని మహావ్యక్తి శ్రీ రాయవరం మునసబు గారు.
మన జీవనయానంలో ఎందరినో కలుస్తూ ఉంటాం. వారితో అనుబంధాలు పెంచుకొనేతీరులో వివిధరకాలుంటాయి. కాని నాజీవితరంగంలో ఎందరో రాజకీయ, సినిమా, సామాజిక రంగ ప్రముఖులతో పరిచయాలు అనుబంధాలు ఉన్నాయి. కానీ శ్రీ మునసబు గారితో ఉన్న అనుబంధం మరువలేనిది, విడదీయరానిది. ఆయన వ్యక్తిత్వం, ఆలోచనా, బయటతీరు మరోలా అనిపించినా, ఆయన భావాలు, ఏదో చేయాలనే తపన నాతో పంచుకొన్నారు. మాట ఎంత కఠినమో మనస్సు అంత మంచిది. ఎప్పుడు కాకినాడ వచ్చినా నన్ను కలువకుండా వెళ్ళేవారుకాదు.
ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె సత్యనారాయణరావు గారు పట్టభద్రుల నియోజకవర్గం నుంచి ఎం.ఎల్.సి గా పోటీచేయాలని ముహూర్తం పెట్టుకొని నాదగ్గరకు వచ్చారు. ఇంతలోనే శ్రీమునసబుగారూ నాదగ్గరకు వచ్చారు. సత్యనారాయణగార్ని చూపించి ఎం.ఎల్.సి గా పోటీచేస్తున్నారనీ, మీగురించే మాట్లాడుకుంటున్నాం అనీ, మీ సహకారం అర్ధిస్తున్నారని చెప్పాను. శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె, నేనూ ఎన్నో విషయాలు చెప్పాం. దేనికీ మాట్లాడకుండా మౌనం వహించారు. తిరిగివెళ్ళిపోతూ "మీరిద్దరూ రేపు రాయవరం భోజనానికి రండి" అనిచెప్పి వెళ్ళిపోయారు. తనను ప్రత్యర్ధివ్యక్తిగా భావించి మాట్లాడలేదని భావించిన శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె, ఆయన ఆహ్వానం తో పులకరించి ఎంతో ప్రశంశించారు. మర్నాడు రాయవరం వెళ్ళాక,భోజనాలయ్యాక, శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె,ను కారులో ఎక్కించుకొని రామచంద్రపురం, జి.మామడాడ, యింకా అనేక ప్రాంతాలు త్రిప్పి తనమాటగా శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె,ను గెలిపించాలని మరీ,మరీ చెప్పారు.
ఎన్.టి.రామారావుగారితో నాకుండే అనుబంధం మునసబుగారికి తెలుసు. ౧౯౮౨లో ఎన్నికలరంగంలో జిల్లా అభ్యర్ధుల ఎంపిక, ప్రచారం బాధ్యత
ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ నాకు అప్పగించారు. జిల్లా మొత్తంలో 19 టి.డి.పి. ఎం.ఎల్.ఏలు నెగ్గారు. తరువాత జడ్.పి అద్యక్షునిపై అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానం పెట్టినప్పుడు టి.డి.పి.కి మూడు సీట్లు తక్కువ అనిపించింది. నేను మునసబు గారి సహాయం కోరాను. ముందు మౌనం వహించి, తీర్మానంరోజు నలుగురిని తీసుకొనివచ్చి మాకు సహకరించారు. ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ మునసబుగారికి నమస్కరించాలని, ఒకసారి హైదరాబాదు తీసుకురమ్మని కోరారు. మునసబుగారు ముందు కాదన్నా, తరువాత నావెంట హైదరాబాదు వచ్చి, ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ ని కలిస్తే, ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ శ్రీ మునసబుగారిని ఎంతో కీర్తిస్తూ , ఆలింగనం చేసుకొని మాట్లాడిన విషయాలు ఎప్పటికీ మరువలేను.
అలాగే ఆయన మరణానంతరం మాస్వగ్రామం సోమేశ్వరం పంచాయతీ ఆఫీసులో ఆయన ఫొటో ఆవిష్కరణ సమావేశానికి ఎందరో ప్రముఖులు వచ్చారు. అందరికీ ఆయన ఫొటోతో ఉన్న మెమెంటోలు యిచ్చాను. యింకా మరెన్నో అనుభూతులు వ్రాయలేకపోతున్నాను..

(మునసబుగారిని ఎల్లవేళలా స్మరించి, అభిమానించే వారిలో ముఖ్యులైన శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ గారిని.. నాలుగు మాటలు వ్రాయమని ఫోనులో కోరినవెంటనే ...ఆరోగ్యం బాగులేకపోయినా...జ్ఞాపకాలు పంపించారు..ఎన్నో ఉన్నా.."చేయి" వ్రాయడానికి సహకరించక వ్రాయలేకపోతున్నానని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు..ఆ మహానుభావునితో తన అనుబంధం విడదీయలేనిదని...ఆయన్ని గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు..మునసబుగారు లేని లోటు ఎప్పటికీ, ఎవరూ తీర్చలేరంటూ..కన్నీళ్ళతో అంజలి ఘటించారు శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ గారు..ఈనాప్రయత్నాన్ని అభినందించారు.- కమలాకరం కొత్త )

శ్రీ మునసబుగారి ఔన్నత్యాన్ని తెలియజేయటానికి సరిపడ్డ సమాచారం లేకపోవటం ఒకపెద్ద లోపంగా షష్టిపూర్తి సన్మానసంఘం భావించింది. కనీసం షష్టిపూర్తి సందర్భంలోనైనా యీ లోపం కొంత పూరించాలని, అందుకుగాను ఒక సావనీరు ప్రచురించాలని నిర్ణయించారు. ఈసందర్భంలో ఎన్నో సాధకబాధకాలు వచ్చాయి. ముఖ్యంగా "రికార్డెడ్ ఎవిడెన్స్" చాల తక్కువగా దొరికింది. ఫొటోలు లేవు.ఎప్పుడో చేసిన పనుల చాయా చిత్రాలు ఈ రోజున తీస్తే పోలికలలో కొంతఎబ్బెట్టుతనమున్నా తప్పలేదు. శ్రీ మునసబుగారి కుటుంబ విశేషాలకు సంబంధించిన చాయాచిత్రాలుకూడ కావలసినన్ని లేవు. వాటిని భర్తీ చేయటానికి యిప్పటి వారి ఫొటోలు తీసినా లోటు లోటుగానే ఉండిపోయింది. శ్రీ మునసబుగారి బాల్యం గురించి, సంచికకు ఒతరువాత అనెక విషయాలలో ఆయన పాత్ర గురించి ఫొటోలుగాని, పత్రికా వార్తలుగాని ఏమీ లభ్యంకాకపోవటం మరో పెద్ద సమస్య అయింది. ఇన్ని యిబ్బందులున్నా,ఉన్న సమయంచాల తక్కువే అయినా, మా సావనీరు కమిటీ సభ్యులు ఎంతో శ్రమపడి యీక రూపు తేవటానికి సహాయపడ్డారు.
ఈసందర్భంలో మాకు ప్రకటనలు యిచ్చి ఆర్ధికసహాయంచేసిన అనేకమంది శ్రీ మునసబుగారి అభిమానుల్ని, మా సమ్మానసంఘంవారిని అభినందిస్తున్నాను. అభినందనులు, వ్యాసాలను అందచేసిన పెద్దలకు, మిత్రులకు నా కృతజ్ఞతలు..

మా మునసబుగారు ప్రజల మనిషి. ప్రజల కష్టసుఖాలు ఆయనకనుభవైకవేద్యాలు. వాళ్ళ సమస్యల్ని పరిష్కరించడం, వాళ్ళకు సాయపడటం ఆయనకి వెన్నతోపెట్టిన విద్య. ఆయన నాయకత్వం బలమైన పునాదులతో ప్రజల హృదయసీమల్లో సుప్రతిషితమైంది. ప్రజలు ఆయన్ని తమ వాడుగా భావించుకొంటారు.
మా మునసబుగారిది కార్యాచరణ మార్గం. వట్టి మాటలు కట్టిపెట్టి గట్టిమేలు తలపెట్టే స్వభావం. కార్యాచరణంలో పట్టుదల, తీవ్రత, ఆయన విలక్షణ లక్షణాలు. తలపెట్టింది పట్టుదలతో సాధించడం, ఆ సాధించడంలో తీవ్ర గమనం ఆయన పద్దతులు. ఆయన నడకలాగే, కార్యసాధనలో ఆయన తీవ్ర గమనాన్ని ప్రక్కవాళ్ళు అందుకోగలగడం కష్టం. ఆయనలో వున్న ఆ ‘డైనమిజమ్’ ఆయన మహానాయకత్వ లక్షణంగా నేను భావిస్తాను.
మా మునసబుగారి మహోన్నత వ్యక్తిత్వానికి కార్యదక్షతకి మా కళాశాల మహోన్నత భవనాలు ప్రతీకలుగా నిలుస్తాయి. అతి స్వల్ప కాలంలో యింత మహోన్నత నిర్మాణం వారి తీవ్ర కార్యాచరణకి సూచికగా మనసులకెక్కుతుంది.
మా మునసబుగారికి జరిగే షష్టిపూర్తి ఉత్సవాన్ని యీప్రాంత ప్రజలు తమ పండుగగా జరుపుకుంటారు. ఆయన కీర్తి కిరీటాలయిన తుల్యభాగా లిఫ్ట్ యిరిగేషన్, హరిజన గృహకల్పనం, సహకార సంఘాలు, ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలనుండి మహోన్నత కళాశాలా నిర్మాణం - వీటన్నిటివల్లగాని, వీటిలో యే ఒక్క దానివల్లగాని లాభం పొందని వాళ్ళు, వీటి ప్రభావ ప్రభావితులు కానివాళ్ళు యీ ప్రాంతాల ఒక్కరుకూడ ఉండరు అనడం సహజోక్తేకాని అత్యుక్తి కాబోదు. తన మహోన్నత వ్యక్తిత్వంవల్ల యీ ప్రాంత ప్రజల జీవన విధానాన్ని ప్రభావితం, ప్రకాశితం చేసిన మా మునసబు గారికి జరుగుతున్న షష్టిపూర్తి సన్మానోత్సవం శుభప్రదం, విజయవంతం కావాలని, వారి ప్రజాసేవా జీవితం నిరాటంకమై, అమేయమై, అసమానమై ప్రకాశించాలనీ, వారికి దైవం దీర్ఘాయురారోగ్య సంపదైశ్వర్యాల్ని, ఉన్నతిన ప్రసాదించాలని పరమేశ్వరుణ్ణి ప్రార్ధిస్తున్నాను.

............He is known to all of us as " Rayavaram Munsiff " and i wonder how many people know his real name! He has been in the field of politics for a long time and was also a Legislator for some time.
Though a rich by birth, for some reason he did not have an opportunity to go to college or university, but he is endowed a rare gift known as commonsense which many and educated men lack. This of men and matters enabled him to carry on his responsibilities as district leader.
What strikes one most is his keen interest he evinced in higher education not for himself, not for his children but for all boys and girls in and around Ramachandrapuram.He felt the need for a college in that thickly populated area. Unlike the management of colleges elsewhere who could not provide minimum physical requirement to colleges started by them , Sri Munsiff garu rose up to the occasion and showed a tremendous will in organising the V.S.M. College almost single handed with the help of the local people large amounts of donation were collected for the noble cause and within a short span of time a huge building programme was taken up and completed. This is not a small achievement. Sri Munsiff was able to provide one of the finest educational institutions in the state. All those interested in higher education should be grateful to Sri Munsiff for his foresight in creating this magnificent institution........

As one coming from an agricultural family in the rural areas of Ramachandrapuram taluk of East Godavari District, Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayanamurty garu is a typical representative of rural folk whose actual needs and problems he had understood thoroughly and whose cause he had taken up even from the beginingof his public career. Though Sri Satyanarayanamurty garu is devoid of the advantages of a formal training and education, he possesses a sound and shrewed commensense with a knack of understanding men and this easily. He is neither a dreamer nor a sentimentalist, but is essentially a man of action and ahard realiest. His indefatigable energy, unbounded self confidence and tenacity of purpose enabled him to hold several responsible positions in public life including the membreship of the Legislative council in the state of Andhra Predesh. He is an incorrigiable optimist and stands like a rock against all currents and cross currents of public life. He is easily accessible to one and all and extends a patient and sympathetic hearing to their representations exploring the possibilities for such help and assistance as he could promptly render. Inspite of his seemingly stern exterior, he is full of the milk of human kindness.
The establishment of a first grade Science and Arts College in Ramachandrapuram in June 1966 which had been a long-felt need of the people of that area is his crowning achievement. He was good enough to invite me to take over the Principalship of the new college in which capacity i had the opportunity of working with him for two years fro June 1966 to Jjuly 1968 during which period i humbly endeavoured to serve the infant institution to the best of my ability by laying sound traditions in respect of academic standards and general discipline. Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayanamurty garu in his capacity as the President of the college Managing committee treated me with utmost respect, giving due weight to all proposals and suggestions made by me for the successful and efficient running of the institution.
His ambition has always been to make his college as one of the biggest and the best in Andhra. With all his drive and dynamism, he set out initiating appropriate steps for the construction of spacious and imposing buildings for the college, and completed the project in a record time. I have always felt that strong will to achieve something landable will of its own accord find appropriate ways and means of attaing the objective; Hence it is hoped that the college founded by Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayanamurty garu will add dimension upon and continue to serve the cause of higher education in accordance with the highest ideals of discipline, enlightenment and learning.

రాజ్యసభ మాజి సభ్యుడు, ప్రముఖ సినీ నటుడు.
కొందరికి క్రికెట్ ఆట అంటే సరదా.. మరికొందరికి పేకాటన్నా, కోడిపందాలన్నా-గుర్రప్పందేలన్నా- సరదా.. రాయవరం మునసబుగార్కి యీ సరదాలేమీ లేవు..ఆయనకున్న ఒకే ఒకసరదా .. ఎలక్షన్లు. చాలామంది రాజకీయ నాయకులు ఎలక్షన్లంటే భయపడతారు. కాని మునసబుగారంటే ఎలక్షన్సే భయపడతాయనివిన్నాం.. ఎందుకంటే ఎలక్షన్సులో ఆయన స్పీడు-ప్రత్యర్ధులులేకాదు, స్వజనంకూడా తట్టుకోవడం కష్టం.
ఆయనకు రాజకీయమంటే ఒక చదరంగం.. ఆయన వేసే ఎత్తులు, ప్రత్యర్ధుల్ని చేసే చిత్తులు, భలే గమ్మత్తుగా వుంటాయి- ఆయన మంత్రిచేత రాజును బంధించడం ప్రజ్ఞగా భావించరు. బంటు చేతిలో మంత్రి దెబ్బతినడం- శకటు సాయంతో రాజు ఆట కట్టించడం - ఆయన ప్రజ్ఞగా భావిస్తారు.
తూర్పు గోదావరిజిల్లా రాజకీయ చదరంగంలో- ముప్ఫై సంవత్సరాలుగా ఆయనదే పైచేయి.. అప్పుడప్పుడూ, ఆట తప్పటడుగుపడ్డా ఆయన బాధ పడరు...గెలుపు- ఓటమి,రెంటినీ చిరునవ్వుతో స్వీకరించే స్వభావ మాయనది.. యుద్ధంలో వెన్ను చూపడంకంటె-రాజకీయాల్లో వెన్ను చూపించడం హీనాతిహీనమని ఆయన నమ్మకం. రాజకీయనాయకుని జీవితం- నేలమీదపడ్డ మట్టిపాత్ర కాకూడదు- రబ్బరుబంతి కావాలని ఒక మహా నాయకుని ఉవాచ. అదే మునసబుగారి విశ్వాసం.. ఆయన రాజకీయ జీవితం..అందుకే ఆయన్ను పవర్ పొలిటీషియన్ గా ఎవరూ భావింపరు..పవర్ఫుల్ పొలిటీషియన్ గానే ప్రజలు, రాష్ట్ర నాయకులు గౌరవిస్తారు.
ఆయన ఏ కాలేజీలోనూ చదవక పోయినా, ఎందరో మనుషుల జీవితాలను కూలంకషంగా చదివినవారు.. కాలేజి విద్య యొక్క ఆవశ్యకతను గుర్తించినవారు...ఎన్నో బృహత్తర. ప్రజాహిత కార్యక్రమాలను- ఏకవ్యక్తిగా, స్వశక్తితో సాధించినవారు..
రాజకీయ నాయకుల్లో అరుదుగా కనిపించే ఒక ప్రత్యేకత మునసబుగారిలో చూస్తాం..అదేమిటంటే ఆయనకు జాతి, కుల, మత విభేదాలు లేకపోవడం..అన్ని ‘ఇజాల’లోకి ‘కమ్యూనలిజం’ భయంకర శత్రువని ఆయన అభిప్రాయం..ఆయన్ను అభిమానించే వారు స్వకులంలో కంటే- యితర కులాల్లోనే ఎక్కువగా వుండటం, ఆయనలోని ఆదర్శనీయమైన ప్రత్యేకత...మునసబుగారికి ఎన్నో పదవులు రావచ్చు..పోవచ్చు..కాని, ఆయనకు తిరుగులేని శాశ్వతమైన పదవి ఒక్కటే..అదే "రాయవరం మునసబు"- అది ఆయనకు దేవుడిచ్చిన వరం.. లక్షలాది ప్రజలు ప్రేమానురాగాలతో-గౌరవించే పెద్ద బిరుదు..
అరవై సంవత్సరాలు జీవించినందుకు షష్టిపూర్తి జరుపుకోవడం పరిపాటి... కాని, కాలాన్ని విలువైనదిగా భావించి, అర్ధవంతంగా ఆదర్శవంతంగా జీవించి, సమర్ధవంతునిగా రాణించి, అనేకానేక ప్రజాహిత కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించి, షష్టిపూర్తి ఉత్సవం- గర్వంగా, నేత్రపర్వంగాజరుపుకుంటున్న శుభసందర్భంలో- ఆ మనీషిని ప్రజలందరితోబాటు "శతమానం భవతి" అని ఆ జిల్లా వాసిగా, నేనూ కోరుకుంటున్నాను.

మంచివాళ్ళమనుకునే వాళ్ళకి ఈయన చాలామందికి చెడ్డవాడు కావచ్చు. ఎందరో చెడిపోయిన వాళ్ళకి మాత్రం మంచివాడని నాకర్ధమైంది. వ్యంగ్యం కాదు..ఆయన కట్టిన కాలేజి యిలా వ్రాయిస్తోంది. ఆయన చదువుని ప్రేమించగలడో లేదో తెలియదు..కాని చదువుకుని పైకి రావలసిన పిల్లల్ని ప్రేమిస్తారన్నది నిజం!
ఒకో మనిషి వుంటాడు. అతణ్ణి ప్రపంచం అంతా గొప్పవాడంటుంది..అందులో కొందరు తమకు లాభించటంకోసం అంటారు. మరి కొందరు అతణ్ణి గొప్పవాడనటంలో తమకి నష్టంలేదు కాబట్టి అంటారు.
సృష్టిలో ఒకే ఒక్క పదార్ధం వుంది..అది దర్పణం లాంటిది.. ఏమనిషి మంచిచెడుల్నైనా వున్నది వున్నట్లు నిర్భయంగా, నిర్మొహమాటంగా చూపిస్తుంది. దాని పేరు అంతరాత్మ. ఆ అద్దం ముందు నిలబడినప్పుడు భయపడకుండా, పశ్చాత్తాపపడే అవసరం రాకుండా ఎవరు బ్రతగ్గలరో వాళ్ళే నిజమైన గొప్పవాళ్ళు. ఈ మనిషికి ఆ సాహసం, నైర్మల్యం ఉన్నాయని నా విశ్వా సం. ఎప్పటికీ ఉండాలని ఆకాంక్ష.

మునసబుగారితో నా పరిచయం కొద్దిపాటిదే అయినా ఆయనపట్ల నా అవగాహన పెద్దపాటిదయిందనే చెప్పవచ్చు.
మనసులో ఒకమాట పైకొకమాట అనే బాపతు వ్యక్తిత్వం కాదాయనది. ఆ అనేమాట ఏదో ముక్కుసూటిగా గట్టిగా అంటేగానీ ఆ రాత్రికి ఆయనకు నిద్రపట్టదు. పైగా ఆయనది గంభీర కంఠస్వరం. రూపంలో మాటలో చేతలో మునసబుగిరీ కొట్టొచ్చినట్లు కనిపిస్తుంది.
సుసంపన్నమైన కుటుంబంలో జన్మించిన ఆయన సామాన్యకార్యకర్తగా కాంగ్రెస్ సంస్థకు చేసిన సేవలు; పిత్రుతుల్యు డైన నాయకుడుగా తాలూకానూ, జిల్లానూ నడిపినతీరు, సుదీర్ఘకాలం శాసనమండలి సభ్యునిగానే గాక వివిధ పదవుల్లో ఆయన చేసిన సేవలు చిరస్మరణీయమైనవి. సాంఘికాభ్యుదయ సాధనలో ఆయన సలిపిన కృషి గణనీయమైనది. ముఖ్యంగా విద్యాభివృద్ధికి ఆసక్తితో అభిరుచితితో ఆయన సాధించిన విజయాలు ప్రతివ్యక్తీ మరీ మరీ గుర్తుంచుకోతగినివి.
ఆంధ్రమాతకు అల్లారు ముద్దుబిడ్డడైన మునసబుగారి షష్టిపూర్తి వుత్సవాలసందర్భంగా ఆయన అతులిత సౌభాగ్యాలతో వర్ధిల్లాలని భగవంతుని ప్రార్ధిస్తున్నాను. సమర్ధవంతమైన ఆయన సారధ్యం నేడు ఎంతేని అవుసరంగనుక ఆయన సేవలు సుదీర్ఘకాలం కొనసాగాలని ఆకాంక్షిస్తున్నాను.

What has made him great or what is the quality that has made so many people all over the state like him, according to me is his heart. Wherever there is suffering he is there. For anyone who is in need in the district he is available anytime. He is the darling of the masses. Wherever he is or goes you see hundreds round him. It is not given to all to be like this. It is peculiar to him.
In his multiple activities for the district the most outstanding monument he has left to the posterity is the college. His devotion and attachment to that institution is his religious belief that education alone will have permanent effect on the development of the area.
My attachment with him is more than two decades. The more i know of him the more my respect and regard grows. I wish and pray that Almighty may bless him with good health for many more years so that his services are available for the district and state.

He is dedicated to sowing the godcreated light of learning. The Godavari District should be more indebted to him than to the mighty Godavari; the river irrigates the fields and Sri Murty's college the minds of boys and girls.

మన జీవనయానంలో ఎందరినో కలుస్తూ ఉంటాం. వారితో అనుబంధాలు పెంచుకొనేతీరులో వివిధరకాలుంటాయి. కాని నాజీవితరంగంలో ఎందరో రాజకీయ, సినిమా, సామాజిక రంగ ప్రముఖులతో పరిచయాలు అనుబంధాలు ఉన్నాయి. కానీ శ్రీ మునసబు గారితో ఉన్న అనుబంధం మరువలేనిది, విడదీయరానిది. ఆయన వ్యక్తిత్వం, ఆలోచనా, బయటతీరు మరోలా అనిపించినా, ఆయన భావాలు, ఏదో చేయాలనే తపన నాతో పంచుకొన్నారు. మాట ఎంత కఠినమో మనస్సు అంత మంచిది. ఎప్పుడు కాకినాడ వచ్చినా నన్ను కలువకుండా వెళ్ళేవారుకాదు.
ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె సత్యనారాయణరావు గారు పట్టభద్రుల నియోజకవర్గం నుంచి ఎం.ఎల్.సి గా పోటీచేయాలని ముహూర్తం పెట్టుకొని నాదగ్గరకు వచ్చారు. ఇంతలోనే శ్రీమునసబుగారూ నాదగ్గరకు వచ్చారు. సత్యనారాయణగార్ని చూపించి ఎం.ఎల్.సి గా పోటీచేస్తున్నారనీ, మీగురించే మాట్లాడుకుంటున్నాం అనీ, మీ సహకారం అర్ధిస్తున్నారని చెప్పాను. శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె, నేనూ ఎన్నో విషయాలు చెప్పాం. దేనికీ మాట్లాడకుండా మౌనం వహించారు. తిరిగివెళ్ళిపోతూ "మీరిద్దరూ రేపు రాయవరం భోజనానికి రండి" అనిచెప్పి వెళ్ళిపోయారు. తనను ప్రత్యర్ధివ్యక్తిగా భావించి మాట్లాడలేదని భావించిన శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె, ఆయన ఆహ్వానం తో పులకరించి ఎంతో ప్రశంశించారు. మర్నాడు రాయవరం వెళ్ళాక,భోజనాలయ్యాక, శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె,ను కారులో ఎక్కించుకొని రామచంద్రపురం, జి.మామడాడ, యింకా అనేక ప్రాంతాలు త్రిప్పి తనమాటగా శ్రీ ఎస్.బి.పి.బి.కె,ను గెలిపించాలని మరీ,మరీ చెప్పారు.
ఎన్.టి.రామారావుగారితో నాకుండే అనుబంధం మునసబుగారికి తెలుసు. ౧౯౮౨లో ఎన్నికలరంగంలో జిల్లా అభ్యర్ధుల ఎంపిక, ప్రచారం బాధ్యత
ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ నాకు అప్పగించారు. జిల్లా మొత్తంలో 19 టి.డి.పి. ఎం.ఎల్.ఏలు నెగ్గారు. తరువాత జడ్.పి అద్యక్షునిపై అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానం పెట్టినప్పుడు టి.డి.పి.కి మూడు సీట్లు తక్కువ అనిపించింది. నేను మునసబు గారి సహాయం కోరాను. ముందు మౌనం వహించి, తీర్మానంరోజు నలుగురిని తీసుకొనివచ్చి మాకు సహకరించారు. ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ మునసబుగారికి నమస్కరించాలని, ఒకసారి హైదరాబాదు తీసుకురమ్మని కోరారు. మునసబుగారు ముందు కాదన్నా, తరువాత నావెంట హైదరాబాదు వచ్చి, ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ ని కలిస్తే, ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ శ్రీ మునసబుగారిని ఎంతో కీర్తిస్తూ , ఆలింగనం చేసుకొని మాట్లాడిన విషయాలు ఎప్పటికీ మరువలేను.
అలాగే ఆయన మరణానంతరం మాస్వగ్రామం సోమేశ్వరం పంచాయతీ ఆఫీసులో ఆయన ఫొటో ఆవిష్కరణ సమావేశానికి ఎందరో ప్రముఖులు వచ్చారు. అందరికీ ఆయన ఫొటోతో ఉన్న మెమెంటోలు యిచ్చాను. యింకా మరెన్నో అనుభూతులు వ్రాయలేకపోతున్నాను..

(మునసబుగారిని ఎల్లవేళలా స్మరించి, అభిమానించే వారిలో ముఖ్యులైన శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ గారిని.. నాలుగు మాటలు వ్రాయమని ఫోనులో కోరినవెంటనే ...ఆరోగ్యం బాగులేకపోయినా...జ్ఞాపకాలు పంపించారు..ఎన్నో ఉన్నా.."చేయి" వ్రాయడానికి సహకరించక వ్రాయలేకపోతున్నానని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు..ఆ మహానుభావునితో తన అనుబంధం విడదీయలేనిదని...ఆయన్ని గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు..మునసబుగారు లేని లోటు ఎప్పటికీ, ఎవరూ తీర్చలేరంటూ..కన్నీళ్ళతో అంజలి ఘటించారు శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ గారు..ఈనాప్రయత్నాన్ని అభినందించారు.- కమలాకరం కొత్త )
